ABOUT MY CAREER
I am a dedicated computer science researcher and senior software engineer with extensive experience designing and developing web-based software systems since 2005. My research career began in 2011 and is supported by a multidisciplinary academic foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics (specializing in Operations Research) and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. After successfully defending my thesis in 2014, I have focused my research on machine learning (ML), with a particular emphasis on applications in computer vision and data mining. My core expertise is in deep learning—a dynamic field driving advancements across diverse scientific domains. I also pursue the intersection of operations research and computer science, exploring innovative methodologies for complex problem-solving. Additionally, I hold a second Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from McMaster University, completed under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Anand. Currently, I serve as Head of Engineering at Cultara and as Senior Software Engineer at Cinemagic Software Corporation, where I contribute to the development of innovative software solutions and advanced ML systems.
